The ‘'Walke-Talkie'', is a new London skyscraper that required numerous revisions to the original building plans for a multitude of reasons. Additional modifications will be needed, as the building is being ‘'accused'' of partially melting the rear-view mirror of a Jaguar parked a few blocks away!
The mirrored outer surface of the building reflected the sun, which then caused damages to a business executive's vehicle. The building developers paid for the necessary repairs.
The Jaguar was not the only object to be melted by the sun's rays: the carpet of a neighboring business suffered burn marks, window-display items began to melt, and the paint on the outer wall started bubbling from the intense heat.
