MALAYSIA: Exora MPV lifts Proton’s Q2 results

Malaysia's Proton Holdings reported a 4.8% rise in net profit to MYR 54.55 million in the second quarter of 2009, compared with RM52.03 million in the year-earlier period. Revenues rose by 8% to MYR 1.85 billion, from MYR 1.7 billion a year, helped by the launch of the Exora compact MPV in April. Full story...
