A 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL collided with an out-of-control BMW 1 Series at the Mille Miglia in Italy. Fortunately, there are no major injuries to report, only a wrecked piece of automotive history.
The 300 SL ranks among the most sought-after models in the car collector universe. A few units have sold for more than $1 million.
