Carl Edwards will join Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2015 season as the organization expands to four full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams.
Additionally, JGR will run Daniel Suarez in the Nationwide Series.
In addition, ARRIS Group, Inc. will sponsor Edwards in the No. 19 Toyota Camry for 17 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. ARRIS also will support Suarez in a multi-year program, starting with the 2015 NASCAR Nationwide Series, as well as a partial schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
JGR also announced that it has launched a diversity initiative with Escuderia TELMEX with support from ARRIS to provide developmental opportunities to Mexican and Latin American candidates in the NASCAR Toyota Series in Mexico and other racing series under the JGR umbrella.
Joe Gibbs said the organization was still talking about who would fill the role of Edwards' crew chief.
