NEW ZEALAND: New vehicle sales set September record

New passenger and commercial vehicle registrations in New Zealand in September rose 5% year on year to 12,474 units, a record for the month. Toyota remained the overall market leader with 19% market share followed by Ford (12%) and Holden (11%). Year to date Toyota, Holden, Ford, Mazda and Hyundai remained the top five brands overall.

UK: Aston Martin to decide new factory location by year-end

Aston Martin will put its DBX crossover concept, unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva show, into production in a new factory by the end of the decade. A decision on where the new factory will be will be made towards the end of this year.
