Evonik has posted first-quarter group sales up 7% year-on-year to EUR3.4bn (US$3.8bn), with an improvement in adjusted EBITDA to EUR650m, up 40%.
Operating profit at Nissan declined 13 percent in the latest quarter, as falling sales in key markets such as Japan and China offset gains from a favorable exchange rate and robust sales in its top market, North America.
