It's no secret that Dodge has lost its way over the past 20 years or so, but Chrysler is looking to change that. In a continuing effort to regain its sport credentials, Dodge is showing a number of refreshed R/T models at the 2011 Chicago auto show, including one model you may not have expected.

It's the car Camaro fan boys have been screaming for, and while the name may not be what everyone expected, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is loaded with more than enough ammo under the hood to take on its main bogey: the Ford Shelby GT500.

It'll still be several months yet before we get behind the wheel of the all-new 2012 Hyundai Veloster, but that hasn't stopped Hyundai from working yet again with with all-around racing ace Rhys Millen on a 500-horsepower monster of a Veloster that's making its debut at the 2011 Chicago auto show.

If the prospect of a Hyundai Genesis sedan with a more efficient and powerful V-6 engine doesn't get you going, maybe the semi-premium sedan's new R-Spec trim will. The 2012 Genesis R-Spec introduces a third engine to the car's lineup: a 5.0-liter V-8 pumping out 429 horsepower.
