Just a few short laps on the old F1 track, seven or eight at most, was all it took for me to realize two things: A), I have no idea how drivers manage to sustain this kind of effort hours on end, and B) the BMW 335is set to hit North American streets in the spring, is a great little toy featuring flawless power and handling. Well almost, anyways. Full story...

”Southern Hospitality”

To be completely frank, I was excited to come to Georgia to see the shiny new Kia plant that is manufacturing the 2011 Sorento-- Georgia itself was incidental. The tour of KMMG was awesome-- yellow robotic arms working in a poetic rhythm with errant sparks flying into the cluster of automotive journalists who gazed on with childlike wonder (well at least this journalist felt like a 7 year old on a class field-trip!). It was truly a sight to behold. But there was something else going on in that factory, and honestly, I know I will not and cannot do it justice with my words. Full story...

2010 Mazda 3 GX Review

This is a little Japanese car with the soul of a German machine. Not because it costs an arm and a leg. On the contrary, it's quite affordable. Its German-ness stems from its performance on the road, or from the surprising stiffness of its chassis. I am of course talking about the 2010 Mazda3 GX. Full story...
