Both BMW-Sauber drivers retired from qualifying at Monza with the same failures in their fresh V8 engines, the team revealed on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton took pole position at Monza, but an hour after qualifying it had already emerged that he will make an extra pitstop in the Italian grand prix.
