With the press preview day of the 105th British Motor Show now completed, the public show days start today and go on through August 3rd. Though not as grand as other international motor shows, there are still 60 vehicle manufacturers displaying more than 600 vehicle. Highlights include the Lotus Evora, Vauxhall Insignia, Honda OSM concept, Alfa Romeo MiTo, Seat Ibiza and the Lightning GT. Full story...

This is Nissan’s brand, a legendary car brand that almost went away. Now plans are made to resurrect the car with a new sport/eco friendly look
As you can see it will look great and it will remain true to the Datsun way, reliability and usefulness.

This is the new Golf MkVI.

Although it looks a bit like the Golf MkV we can clearly see the differences, new headlamps and front grille.
All we know is that there will be a petrol and diesel version, also keeping up with the tradition a GTI and a Bluemotion version like in the Golf MkV

VW officials said that the new Golf MkVI will “fix” all the problems from the MkV version (specially the interior)

This is one mad Porsche
There is a few amount of information on this S Sport model but we can say this : The power will come from a 3.4l engine with six cylinder that blows 303 bhp .

The price for this limited edition Porsche will get up to 100,000 $ and the release will be in August 2009

A new look for the new C-MAX from Ford, and i have to say that it looks great. Only downside is that we have to wait until 2010 to see it in showrooms

The power will come from a 1.6l and a 2.0l engine both in petrol and diesel. The transmission will be a standard five or six speed manual . The twin-clutch semi-automatic Powershift box system will be an extra .

The space inside is said to be enough for all needs , the seats fold offering a flat area for storage .

the BMW X3 has been brought up to date , a new subtle look for the German Car .
No major modifications , just some work on the interior .

The engine is the same , a 3.0 l petrol and 2.0 and 3.0 diesel engines all in 4×4 drive

This is just a small revision , a new BMW X3 will be launched in 2009 and we can bet that it will look different :)

This is one hot supermini . The “ferrari” fiat 500 car and it does not get more exclusive than this .

Only 200 cars will be made and they are for the ferrari owners that want to keep the real super cars at home (or they are to busy for the ferrari madness). It is an alternative for the big red horses

Leather interiors , red paint and red all over the fiat 500 ferrari edition ” looks ” like a super mini but will not act like one .
Only a 1.4 l engine will be placed on it at 100bhp .

Who wants to bet it is already sold out ?

Another car that will appear in the Paris Motor Show in October – the NEW Honda Jazz

The prices for this smallish car will be arround 20,000 $ and could go up to 25-30,000 $ for the highest model .

The power will come from a 1.2 and a 1.4 petrol engine but Honda promised we will have a hybrid engine by the end of 2009 . No diesel engine for the new Jazz

A new look and feel for the Honda Jazz they have high expectations from this car ,more room for the passengers and storage space and a new attitude :)

Ford said that this amazing car will be released on the marked in January 2009 . It is simple , cute , and comfortable – perfect for the busy cities of today

It will be better built , better powered and better marketed by Ford , we can say this for sure .

Porsche Cayman beware , the Lotus Eagle is out and about looking for trouble . This is the new shape of Lotus Elise .
The official release will take place at the British Motor Show also Lotus will let us know what is the real name of the car (Eagle is the project name)

The power will come from a 276 bhp 3.5 l V6 engine with a top speed of 160 mph. Lotus says that they will squeeze a 0-60 mph time under 4 seconds .

The price is expected around 90,000 $

The new Peugeout 308 CC will go on sale at the beginning of 2009 and will be officially unveiled at the Paris motor show later this year
The car will have better handling , better brakes , better driving comfort (new climate technology) and better safety – the 308 CC will have side head airbag .

This is a summer car and it will replace the 307 CC Peugeot model and yes we are all sad to see it go

The new Z4 will go on sale at the end of 2009 but we can already tell it will be a keeper
It has a more aggressive look and what we have been waiting for , a folding metal roof . This model will be sold side by side with the soft top version.
If you want to talk power , the Z4 has power , there are many power-plants to choose from , a 3.0 l six cylinder engine and the highest model being the 4.0 l V8 engine
All Z4’s will be equipped with the new seven speed SMG DCT twin-clutch transmission developed by BMW.

Also on a different note BMW says that all the Z4 models will have a low emission rate and fuel economy (we can only hope but do we really want it ? )
Power is Z4’s middle name :)

The electric Mini , a car that everyone expected for some time now in US
BMW will release 500 cars in California , 490 for sale and 10 for display in showrooms
The electric Mini is built in England at the Mini factory in Oxford but the engines and almost all mechanical parts are built in Germany (this is great)

To make the buyers feel even better the electric cars will be painted differently , they will have a yellow roof and silver body

I can say that these cars will sell in 1-2 days maximum in California , so if you want one keep an eye on the market

Renault put the new Clio Estate on sale. The price will start from 21,000 $ , 1600 $ more than the five-door Clio
The entry level engine will be a 75bhp 1.2l 16V engine and the upper level engine will be a 1.5 dCi 106bhp engine. The price estimated is 30,000 USD for the flagship

The new bigger Scenic will hit the market in 2009 but it will hit the Paris Motor Show in October .

There is no official price on this car , we will keep looking
The engines will be : a 1.5 and 2.0 l dCi motor and a 1.5 petrol engine at 100bhp
The new Scenic will have a bigger load capacity and a completely flat load area

Things are looking good for Renault

The new Polo will be redesigned , a new look .
It takes its looks from the new Golf and Scirocco, a simple design yet very efficient
Volkswagen says that the new Polo will be the best car ever built in its class
The new VW Polo will have a 1.4-litre supercharged and turbocharged TSI engine at a 138bhp .
Also it will have a 168bhp GTI version.

There will be a 4×4 drive SUV version and an MPV version , but they will appear in 2010

VW plans to release a hybrid version of the POLO but more on this later on

The price will start from 18,000 $ and up . The car will go on sale next year

This is the Renaultsport Twingo 133

Prices will start from 20,000 $ for the entry level version and it will go on sale in September .
The first 133 people that will order a Twingo will receive a driving tuition and a day at the track for free . This is a great marketing scheme for Renault

The Twingo 133 will have a 133bhp 1.6l 16V engine , and they say that it has lower emissions. The engine sound is deeper and gives the overall car a racing image
