Two renowned companies in the tire industry, (Pneus Unimax known as UNIPNEU) and Point S have recently entered an alliance. Point S, with its 2,600 outlets, sell 15 million tires annually and are already present in the United States; the association with Pneus Unimax means they will enter the Canadian market in Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic provinces.
The UNIPNEU banner will remain in Quebec, while Point S will be developed by Pneus Unimax in certain areas in Quebec as well as where the company wants to increase its presence in the rest of Canada. Tire dealers whose business is focused on retail will offer the brand Point S.
Pneus Unimax is composed of 77 independent dealers in 133 outlets under the brand UniPNEU in the province of Quebec.
