The BMW 7 Series could receive an M badge at some point in the future.
BMW’s flagship sedan, the 7 Series, has never had an M-badged high-performance variant. This may change in the future, though, as the BMW M division’s chief engineer Albert Biermann told Autocar that a BMW M7 is being considered to compete with cars like the Audi S8, Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, and Jaguar XJR.
