Tesla CEO Elon Musk has written on Twitter that he's looking for engineers to work on his ambitious project of putting a self-driving car on the road by 2016.
Musk, who very much has his own unique ways (and it seems to pay off), banks on his 380,000 Twitter followers to source much-needed manpower for the venture.
Here's the Tweet:
“Engineers interested in working on autonomous driving, pls email autopilot@teslamotors.com. Team will report directly to me.”
With so many fans and followers, many of whom will resend his comments to others, Musk's post may be viewed by more people than would look at the Los Angeles Times' classified ads, according to Karl Brauer of Kelley Blue Book.
