GPS manufacturer TomTom has agreed to a partnership with German automaker BMW to integrate its GO LIVE navigation devices in selected BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, X1 and X3 models.
BMW dealers all over Europe can now install customized TomTom devices designed to connect with BMW's existing in-car entertainment systems.
A special mount even attaches the 5'' touchscreen TomTom device onto the dashboard of the car.
GO LIVE operates through Bluetooth connectivity and provides real-time traffic information. Meanwhile, navigation directions and hands-free phone calls are given over the car's speakers and temporarily mute any other audio sources to ensure navigation instructions as well as phone conversations are easily heard.
