Toyota is now recalling 520,000 vehicles, most of which were sold in North America. The first one affects 450,000 Toyota Sienna minivans from 2004-2011 (80,000 in Canada). The cable attaching the spare tire may break over time.
Another recall involves 55,000 Toyota Highlander CUVs built from November 2013 to May 2014, and sold mostly in the U.S., but also in Canada and Mexico. The front passenger seat belt needs to be fixed.
Finally, some 16,000 Lexus GS 250 and GS 350 sedans built in 2012 may suffer from moderate deceleration due to a bad brake pedal calibration. These vehicles were mainly sold in North America, others in China and Europe.
