At least two Porsche 911 GT3 cars caught fire earlier this month, one in Italy and another in Switzerland, forcing the German automaker to halt sales.
The fires may have been caused by an oil leak, although Porsche wouldn't confirm. Investigations are being carried out to determine the exact cause.
This could delay the arrival of the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 at dealerships, scheduled for this spring.
